Volkswagen Emergency Services Newsletter features the new 4×4 Seat Leon X-perience powered by ‘genisys’

VWG_EmergencyServices_Jan16_FINAL_01A recent article in Volkswagen Emergency Services Newsletter features how Carnation created a power management system tailored to Seat’s specific requirements for the 4×4 Leon X-perience.

Article extract: Seat is dipping its toe further into the blue-light market with the addition of a new demo version of its exciting 4×4 Leon X-perience.

Aimed at the paramedic and rapid response market, the team at Volkswagen Group emergency services worked with two industry conversion specialists to design the new demonstrator.

Hall’s electrical carried out the conversion work, installing bespoke storage solutions along with the latest generation of Led lighting and a custom livery kit, while Carnation designs created a power management system tailored to the car’s specific requirements.

Richard Yates, from Carnation designs, part of Ring Automotive, project managed the integration of the Seat’s bespoke new ‘genisys’ control system.

He said: “We’ve been proud to provide control systems for hundreds of emergency vehicles built around Volkswagen Group cars in the past, but this was an exciting opportunity to work directly with VWG on a Seat demo project using a brand new model.
